Abstract

Background: Cold compress is a non-pharmacological therapy method that involves applying low temperatures to an area of ​​the body to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling. Objective: The efficiency of ice pack cold compress therapy in reducing pain intensity in patients with reumatoid arthrits at the Maccini Sawah Health Center. Results: The provision of cold compress therapy has a positive impact on reducing pain intensity and increasing the comfort of clients with reumatoid arthrits. Clients reported a reduction in pain, a decrease in the sensation of warmth in the joints, and an increase in relaxation after the procedure. Conclusion: The effect of applying ice pack cold compresses provides real benefits for clients with reumatoid arthrits. This therapy is effective in reducing pain intensity, reducing swelling, and increasing patient comfort and relaxation.
