IMPLEMENTASI PRINSIP 5 BENAR TERHADAP KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT PADA PASIEN DENGAN HALUSINASI PENDENGARAN DI RSKD DADI PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN

Introduction: Hallucinations are one of the symptoms of sensory perception experienced by patients with mental disorders. Nurses have an important role in the patient care process to reduce the impact caused by implementing medication adherence with the principle of 5 correct medication adherence. Objective: To determine the implementation of the principle of 5 correct medication adherence on medication adherence in patients with auditory hallucinations at RSKD Dadi, South Sulawesi Province. Method: A descriptive case study was conducted on two hallucination patients. The data that has been collected is analyzed and presented in the form of a narrative table. Results: After implementing the principle of 5 correct medication adherence for three days, it showed a decrease in hallucination scores from both respondents. In the first respondent, the hallucination score on the first day before the intervention was 20, and on the third day after the intervention the hallucination score decreased to 6. In the second respondent, the hallucination score on the first day before the intervention was 25, and there was a decrease in the hallucination score on the third day after the intervention, namely to 3. Conclusion: Implementation of the principle of 5 correct taking medication can increase patient compliance in taking medication and help reduce the hallucination score experienced by patients.
