PENERAPAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT ATAU BHBS DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA ANAK

Abstract

ackground: Diarrhea is a condition that occurs when defecation is very difficult, runny or liquid and occurs more than 3 times a day, even the frequency can reach 10x / day if it has entered the stage of severe diarrhea. Objective: To determine the implementation of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) with the incidence of diarrhea in children in the work area of ​​​​the Maccini Sawah Health Center, Makassar City. Method: This study used a descriptive case study approach on two children aged 2-15 years who suffered from acute diarrhea. Results: Subject 1 who showed clean and healthy living behavior with observation results got a score of (75%), subject 2 showed less of this behavior and only got a score of (25%). Subject 1 showed more attention and seriousness in the implementation given by the researcher compared to subject 2 who showed an indifferent attitude and lack of attention when given the application of BHSP by the researcher. Conclusion: Subject I has good hygiene and health practices and recovers from diarrhea faster than subject II who does not apply BHSP so that his diarrhea is slower to heal.
